My XP MCE used to be able to see my XP Pro machine, but now I have Vista Beta 2 ont he media center pc and it can no longer view the XP Pro machine. They are both in the same workgroup.
Oh yeah, why do you still have to restart to change workgroups????? Sometimes some companies just have no idea what needs to be changed.

Vista machine can't see XP Pro machine in the same network
Do you have your network set to public or private? If it is set to public, you might want to change it to private and enable discovery and sharing.
